What Causes Constipation
There are a lot of things when it comes to Rhett Syndrome and constipation that could be causing it.

Exercise – Exercise is an excellent way to reduce stress. While exercise is not always easy for those with Rhett Syndrome, even physical therapy can help in this respect. The movement of the muscles in the body gets endorphins going. These endorphins give the body and natural high and boost of energy. This can make the person who is exercising, or going through physical therapy, feel better and even a little happier right after the exercise session. This also lowers stress.
Relaxing Activities – There are always things that we enjoy doing. Our hobbies and other fun activities are a great way to reduce stress. Make sure to make a regular schedule of time where you get to do some of those relaxing and fun activities to help lessen stress on the system.
Meditation – Meditation is an excellent way to reduce stress on the body. Learning how to relax your mind, and spirit, can help the stress melt away.
It is not a surprise that stress is a natural part of Rhett Syndrome. This can become even more pronounced when someone is dealing with the Rhett Syndrome and constipation connection, as constipation can be its own frustrating incident to deal with. But by reducing stress, you may be able to reduce some of the constipation and frustration that comes with Rhett Syndrome.
