Constipation Cure – Drink Enough Liquids
If you have found yourself struggling with constipation
recently, constipation relief may be as close as your faucet.
You may be dehydrated.
Many people don't realize they are not giving
their body enough liquids. They think as long as they drink
when they're really thirsty, they are doing enough. That's not
the case. Once you start to experience thirst, you have already
waited too long and your body is crying out for the water it
needs.
Additionally, when you do not have enough water
in your system, your body will have a tough time digesting things
you eat and this may lead to you searching for a constipation
remedy.
Get Enough Liquids
It's time to take a closer look at what you are
putting in your body and if it's enough.
Watch Your Intake
For the next week or so, take a much closer look
at how much you are drinking. Carry a notebook around and see
if you are getting 8 glasses of water a day (64 ounces) if not,
you need to up your liquid intake to that level.
Drink the Right Things
The kinds of liquids you put into your body also
count. You should try to avoid caffeine and alcohol as your
liquids. These are not going to rehydrate you. As a matter of
fact, they have the opposite effect, dehydrating you more than
you already were.
How to Hydrate Enough
Many people want to make sure they are hydrated,
but have a tough time figuring out how to get enough liquid
in their system during a normal day. Here are a few tips:
On the Go
If your day has you traveling or on the road a
lot, get a large bottle of water and carry it with you. Get
into the habit of making yourself pick it up and taking a large
swig of the liquid every now and then. A lot of quick drinks
all day long will add up.
In the Office
If you are in the office all day you should make
room at your desk for an always available drink source. Keep
a large cup or bottle of water beside you and keep sipping on
it all day long. Refill it when it gets empty. If you get into
a habit of doing this you will not have a problem keeping your
body hydrated.
Constipation Remedy
While hydrating in itself may be enough of a constipation
cure for your body, if it isn't, you may need to do something
more.
Colon Cleansing
One very effective method of constipation relief
is colon cleansing. In this process your colon is literally
cleaned out so it can start fresh. If you have been suffering
with constipation for a long time, this may be the constipation
remedy that is most effective to get things back on track.
Fiber Supplement
Another thing you can do to keep your body regular
is not only hydrate but make sure you are getting enough fiber
to help move waste through your digestive tract. If you don’t
have enough fiber in your diet to do this on it's own, you may
want to consider adding a fiber supplement to your daily intake.
